The guests started to arrive and with Stephen the groom already waiting, Grace left the hotel and took a short stroll down the mainstreet of Adare with the bridal party to the church. Grace was walked down the aisle by her mum, sadly her dad had passed away some years ago, during the ceremony we were joined by a Swallow flying around the church and everyone was in agreement her father had come to see his daughters wedding.
After a brief photo session in the park across from the church, with the very talented photographers Paul & Elaine of Moat Hill Photography, the bridal party returned to the Dunraven Arms for the reception.
The weather conintued to behave itself as the sun beamed down guests were laughing and enjoying the day, also with a caricature artist making fantasic sketches. After the Groom's fathers speech came dinner and was proceeded by speeches from Grace, Stephen, brides maids and best man with some very funny stories and even some fresh prince of Belair style rapping.
After cake cutting came the first dance to a Van Morrison song followed by a James Brown style wedding band. I had a very enjoyable day and would like to thank Grace & Stephen for choosing me to capture memories of their special day.
